Im 17 years old. i have chronic mono this is the 2nd time ive had it. Just got over bronchidis. i just finished an antibiotic for a urinary tract infection. im eating more then i use to. i have stomach pains all the time and feel nauseas alot and throw up every few days. i have not had my period in 2 months. im being tested for fibromyalga and chronic fatigue syndrom. i have had blood tested which is how they found mono. and they tested my urine which is how they found uti. These are the questions i have. 1. can all that and being sick for the last couple months make my period late? 2. if i was pregnant wouldnt they have told me since they tested urine and blood wouldnt it have came up? 3. im bad about remembering birth control and was too many pills off so decided to wait til after next perod to start them again but period hasnt come. should i start the birth control anyways wil it make my period come? please help and answer all questions!

I'm getting induced next Monday. My last appointment I was told by a midwife not to wait since I'm past my due date and to get induced. Today I was told by a different midwife that I'm rushing it and could go till 42 weeks. Also she said I will more likely end up in c-section this early. So am I rushing it? What is your experience?? When did you get induced?? And for what reason? My cervix is closed and I think it just needs help and also I'm very tired of being pregnant and don't feel good at all. So i missed my period in febuary completely and now i am bleeding early about a week early. I have quite a bit of pregnancy signs blooded, headaches, back pains, spider viens extremely sore breast and staring to get harder above the nipple. Wierd food cravings, I get nausea but i havent thrown up. If im pregnant i assume i am a bit over 7 weeks maybe 3 days over. Now i got my period and the first day it seemed normal not heavy just normal. Enough for tampons and the second it was normal in the morning but slowed down at night when i went to take my tampon out it hurt cause there was barely any blood and it the very little on the tampon was dark brown and today im bleeding very little like it was the end of my period. and only a little when i wipe and its a brown color. usually my periods last 6 to 7 days. I dont want people to say take test i just want to know if people have had spotting like this.

I am 22, and missed my last two periods. I am on the pill and take it very regularly. After i missed my first period, I took 2 pregnancy tests and they were negative. Then half way through the month I spotted for a couple days, very dark clotty blood. Then this month I never got my period. I took 3 more pregnancy tests and called my OBGYN and he just said it might be stress. Then during the last week of my 2nd BC pack... the condom broke with my boyfriend so I took the morning after pill. needless to say, I started my pill pack, and feel crampy and bloated in my uterus.... I know this is the wrong area for this post...parenting juveniles has only juveniles answering questions. My 10 year old daughter was abandoned by her mom at age 5 (I am her step-mom), I think this has caused her to have some attachment issues. She seems to seek attention from boys to replace the hole she has from no contact with her mom (by her mom's choice). I try to fill the shoes but I am not her real mom and she knows that, her counselor says that by being a good mom to her it may make her feel worse knowing I volunteer to and her real mom refuses to. Anyways to make a long story short, she has been inappropriate with boys at school. She is not allowed to have a boyfriend but that obviously hasn't stopped her. She has hugged boys and sat by them at lunch. We talked with her teacher and student counselor and we have all forbidden her from this type of boy-girl relationship. Her teacher called me today and she was dared to kiss a boy and she did so in front of the entire 4th grade. She was also caught sitting by him alone at lunch. She will now be sitting alone at lunch. We don't know what else to do. So far we have tried grounding, taking away privledges, extra chores, no electronics, no talking to friends, no hanging out with friends, etc and nothing seems to work. She just doesn't care. She is on to behavioral counselor #2 who so far doesn't seem too worried about her and thinks talking to her dad about her mom will help. He has always been open with her so I don't think that will solve anything. We have talked about the birds and the bees, how this behavior is slutty at 10 and still nothing. She had a boy send her a valentine that threatened her life (he got suspended from school). She was told to stay away from him by us and her teachers and her diary (yes I peeked due to worry) said she was his girlfriend and bragged about sneaking around behind our backs! I don't know what else to do. Her behavior is starting to wear off onto my child and I am very pregnant and way too stressed about how to help her. Helpful advice only please! My husband is very involved with her (more than I am). We are both at the end of our ropes and don't know what to do. She is involved in sports and her dad is active in that as well.

Everyone here seems to love suggesting very late-term emergency spays when someone asks about their pregnant dog. I can understand spaying a pregnant dog if the pregnancy is caught early, but I have worked for a vet and witnessed these late term spays....seeing viable puppies, still wiggling in the uterus, days from being born, just needing a quick rub to take their first breath, tossed in the medical waste bin to slowly wither away. I'm sure you would all be appalled to hear of a story where someone threw a newborn litter of puppies in the trash can, so what makes it okay to do as long as they are still encased in the uterus? Things happen, even resposible dog owners have things come up, financial emergencies or family resposibilities and have to put feeding and vaccinating their animals above spaying them sometimes. It's a crap economy. And when you adopt an animal you never know what your family dynamics will be for 15 years. You take care of them the best you can until things get better. Why should puppies about to be born have to pay for an owners mistake or bad financial luck? (which wasn't my case, but is many people's case....read my question if you want to know the entire situation before you go nuts without knowing the whole situation, unless you just like making uninformed rants) I recently asked a question about my Bulldog's pregnancy. I wasn't in the country when she conceived. Everyone here said to have her spayed even though less than a week later, she delivered (by c-section) 7 healthy puppies. And yes she was spayed at the time of the c-section, but still I couldn't imagine them in a medical waste bin. They all had homes lined up before they were born. Anyone taking them has to sign an agreement for spays/neuters, a home visit and to only re-home pups back to me, even if it is 10 years down the road. So....what's the difference between these extrememly late term spays and just throwing a litter of newborn pups in the trash right after birth? Compassion doesn't run rampant here on Y!A so I'm expecting all the shitty comments, but just thought I would pose the question.

i am 20 years old, my fiance and i rent a house. i owe alot of money, mainly due to a hospital bill and a car accident. he is being sued by a person who bought a broken camper from him. he told him where it needed to be fixed and he insisted on buying it anyway. i just want to know if you know of anything i can do to help, i will give you a list of all the expenses we owe. it is just so frustrating, i dont know what we can do. i owe 4,000 to an ins. company for damages. they wont work out a payment plan with me. i owe 2,000 in court fees for my accident, and not having auto ins. i owe 2,400 to a car loan, for a car that is totalled i owe 3,000 in medical bills for going to the ER when my throat swelled shut. he owes 13,000 to the jackass that sued him for his own mistake. he owes 5,000 to a student loan, everything has compiled so much, and its impossible to pay that much. he is going to court right now to discover assets for this guy suing him. i just lost my job, they fired me because im pregnant, and he might lose his car due to this guy suing him, which means he wont be able to work. anyone have any ideas on what we could possibly do? im so stressed about it i cant even think straight. only serious answers please...

I already have a Christmas baby and know it's not an ideal birthday. ok this past year has been hard for me basically in 2009 i moved 90miles away from my hometown to be with my boyfriend of 6 years when he got premoted, ive struggled to find any work here or make friends, i found out i was pregnant in august but i lost the baby in september my fav uncle died a few weeks later... ive never been so lonely. the doctor told me i was depressed because i wasnt been social enough and told me it was best to move back home - which i cant afford to do. 2009 was the worst year of my life and i dont want 2010 to be the same it hard for me to be posistive but i am trying my best. i really need a job to help me as the bills are mounting up again and my boyfriend is struggling to pay them all himself. also if i get a job i might make a friend or two which would be great anyway! im not fussy how many hours i get i just want to be doing something! lol! i have worked mainly in bars and restaurants since i left schoool and i quite like that type of work. the local fast food places only seem to take on school leavers and i havent heard back from them. but i have been out of work since december 2008 when i moved here. i know it looks bad but i dont know what to put on my CV or on application forms to explain this? how can i get my application noticed? i only had 1 interview in 2009 and that was in july. i feel a bit invisible. also im not on benefits as they think my boyfriends wage should be enough to cover us both (which it doesnt at all) and i cant get any help at all from the job centre. i have looked around and asked to volunteer in charity shops ect but havent got anywhere with that either. i want to apply for college so i can improve myself but i cant afford to go unless i get a job to pay for it 1st. any help or ideas for me? im 27 btw...

I know I know just relax and it will happen when it is suppose to but it is so hard when all I see is babies and pregnant people. I finally am getting my cycle under control and know that my husband and I did Baby dance on the right times. So now I am waiting and not trying to look into the symptoms that my mind seems to make up for me each cycle. This time I am not having any major signs of early pregnancy which is kinda of bumming me out. I did however have cramps about 5 days after possible conception. Since then I have been extremely hungry. I so not normally eat hamburger but I can't seem to get enough of Mc Donald's Cheese Burgers. Last night I woke up to let my cat out of the room and went out and ate a few chocolates which for me is odd. I am a very healthy eater rarely crave sweets or hamburgers. However I am sure I am making it up in my mind or possibly just getting ready to have my period and craving those foods because of Aunt Flow. I am to nervous to take a pregnancy test because I am positive it is just going to a BFN and I will disappointed. Anyone else want to share their TTC stories with me? I just really needed to vent my husband, Mom and friends get sick of hearing about it all the time. Thanks for listening.

hi im from london and my boyfriend new york.Well about 2 years ago i met him he come over to london with a couple of guys to go college and pay basketball.And we was at the same college.About a year later i got pregnant with his baby it was hard.He was in the road all the time.Well about 2 weeks ago he and the guys come back from america after playing a game.when he got here he asked me if i wont to go to new york and say there with him not come back.I told him i didn't want to because of my family ,friends.Well he got angry and said i have ****** up his life. i went to bed he came up saying sorry he didn't mean it.I told him to get out he went to stay with his mateS.He said to me think about it.But i really don't want to leave london how do i tell him this.I don't want another argument.PLEASE HELP ME WHAT DO I DO ! thanks

don't know if I could be pregnant or not. My period was due yesterday 18th. Normally I always have cramping pains a week before my period is due every month this month I haven't I do feel like I have a watery feeling down below but I have no discharge and my urine is a normal colour and tiny niggles of discomfort but not pain when I lay down the discomfort doesn't hurt I just feel something is going on down there lol. My last period was on Feb 18th the one before that was on Jan 22nd. Could I be pregnant?

I went to the dr today, he gave me atest it was pos. he prescribed prenatal vitamins etc. well...when he did my exam he said "i can't tell how pregnant you are" i was like WHAT???? he asked when my last period was i told him feb 9th. he said i was about 5 1/2 weeks... he didn't tell me a due date, he just said that he wanted me back in 1 month for prenatal care, and told the nurse to take my blood... is he not telling me something??? is he supposed to be able to feel the baby at 5 1/2 weeks? i'm like...omg...lol. pls help!!

After 2 failed Vasectomy Reversals, we are in tears. IVF is so expensive, but is it our only option? I know they will have to extract my husband's sperm inorder to do the IVF which will add to the cost. I just cry every time I think about it because I don't want to give up hope. He had the semen analysis done 6 months after surgery; zero sperm count. Is there a change that he will have sperm if we wait longer? If we did IVF, what are the chances of it taken and me becoming pregnant the first time? I would appreciate any help, suggestions, or advice. My husband is deploying for a year in less that 3 weeks. We just want to have some kind of hope. Thank you!!!

I had a period that lasted for one day (started March 18th). Odd discharge today but not a period. I am sexually active, and am TTC, however my temps are not triphasic, so I'm pretty doubtful I'm pregnant. I had a teeny amount of spotting on 18DPO. On 19DPO (now my CD1) I had a light period. I've got some weird discharge going on now. I forgot to add, that I have PCOS as well, which could possibly account for crazy temperatures.

So im 17 weeks pregnant. The father and i were a couple and were actually trying for a baby. He's in the army national guard and goes back to afghanistan at the end of the year and we wanted the baby to be born before then. Well i became pregnant as soon as we started trying. We told his family that i was pregnant and they were furious. His mom does not like me because i am puerto rican and she thinks all latina women are easy. Anyways i guess his mom gave him an ultimatum and without telling me anything at all, he just got me off. He never gave me and excuse. Just stopped answering my calls and texts. Anyways i dont know his address. Hes living with his mom and i dont know his social. I know his full name, date of birth, phone number, hes in the new york national guard, i know the exact day at time he got surgery at the VA hospital in the bronx. Would the courts be able to find him for child support? I never thought it would come to this but he wanted this baby more than i and i feel he needs to be responsible for our daughter in some way. ok that did not help at all. I didnt ask for all that. I have my own private insurance. I do not need anything from him except for his to participate in some way with our son once he is born. Im guessing since i am a latina you think im trying to milk the goverment or military in some way. Or that i need money now because i do nothing with my life. I work full time in a hospital and i am in school for nursing. I am looking to take him to court after the child is born. Him. Not the military or anyone else. well we were rngaged and we said that that time would be our last until we got married. last night he came to spend the night we got into a big fight and then i had a little to drink (joose). as soon as i started to drink it i felt like throwing up which is wierd becausae that never happens. so this morning we go to a bagel shop and all of a sudden just the look and smell of the shop made me want to thow up. ny ex fiance said it smells good and tey had a lot of customers when we walked in. i dont know if it is something else or if im pregnant can someone who has been pregnant or is pregnant tell me. i do not want to here oh well go get a pregnancy test. i want to know if this is a sign or something you know?

why do parents prefer daughters dating violent gang thugs their age then nice guys a few years older? Just as somone is a few years older does not make them any more expierience, mainipulative, only into sex or any of that nonsense. Nor does someone being her age make him a nice guy. Who are the ones doing all the murdering,gangs, muggings, violence, binge drinking, knifings, shootings and now using attack dogs , murdering people from differeing postal districts or lokking at them or buming into them? its all the teenagers. Likewise the ones getting girls pregnant. Whilst somone a bit older ie 15 and 9 17 and 23 etc is more likly to be more sensible, less into loosing it and boasting, etc. So why not forget the age of cncent crap for mid to older teens and concentrate more on Is the day nice and caring and dating daughter as likes her Or some Jerry Springer/Jeremy Kyle show, chav/redneck.gang thug/binge drinking/junkie/thug/ into beating up girls and never using condoms?

im 15 weeks pregnant with twins, i had a ultrasound today and i asked if they could tell the gender, they are identical and she said she "thought" she saw three lines on one if the babies so she would say shes 90% we are having girls, should i start buying pink stuff or wait till my next u/s, which is at 18 weeks anyway, thanks
